You Can’t Get Cold Wearing Hot Pink

About a month ago I was on this sweater high and I was buying just about any cute sweater I saw whenever I would go shopping. I’ve purchased at least five sweaters within the past couple of months and I don’t regret any of my purchases. I love sweaters because I can wear them with any and all bottoms and I can roll up my sleeves if I get too hot (something you can’t really do with a jacket). I found this sweater at H&M and I was so pleased with its softness that I also got it in two other colors. One thing in particular that I love about this sweater is that it’s cropped, giving it vintage look. It’s extremely comfortable and keeps me really warm. Some nights I can go out to dinner with just this sweater on and no jacket. Also, I hate having to carry stuff around, even purses are annoying to me so the less unnecessary stuff I have on, the better!

This skirt I’m wearing is my very first hi-low skirt, I feel so proud that I finally found one that I really liked (I actually got this skirt in another color too. When you find something you like you just have to stock up!). I’ve loved hi-low skirts for the longest time but every time I would shop for one everything I found was either too expensive, too ugly or the fabric was uncomfortable. Now, I usually don’t like to buy any clothes that are made of polyester or rayon because they’re cheap fabrics BUT, I just had to make an exception for this skirt because it’s just the perfect length I want, it’s a matchable solid color and the price was reasonable. I’m wearing some glittery tights under for extra warmth but I certainly plan on wearing it solo this Summer.

These boots are, hands down, my favorite pair of boots in the Universe. These are actually my mom’s boots from long ago (the 80s I’m assuming from their structure) and I found them in her closet when I was 18. I raid my mother’s closet every once in a while because, well she’s the OG Shopaholic (I don’t get this crazy need for shopping from nowhere!). That woman has taught me that it’s always possible to find great quality apparel for dirt cheap. She doesn’t remember where she got these boots from but when I saw them in her closet I instantly snatched them and now their permanent home is my closet. I’ve spent $120 on boots and I’ve spent $10 on boots (I have about 12 pairs) but absolutely nothing compares to these. They fit my feet so well, they’re the perfect length and they look great with anything from shorts to pants and skirts. I can walk all day long in these boots without feeling any pain in my feet or legs at the end of the day. I’m so glad I spotted these! Just goes to show, you never know what you’ll find in your mom’s closet.
