Seventies Swagu

I found this chiffon butterfly kimono a few days ago and actually wasn’t going to purchase it at first. It has a few different colors going on in the pattern and I wasn’t sure if I had anything to pair with it. Luckily I have a wonderful memory when it comes to my clothes and I remembered I had this great pair of bell bottoms.

I actually really like the pop of yellow on this kimono; it’s a nice contrast to all the shades of blue. You’ve probably noticed that chiffon is a huge trend right now. I personally have been buying so much chiffon lately. I find that it’s a lovely fabric to wear when it’s warm out but there’s an apparent breeze, like today! As you can see from the top two photos, I was really enjoying the breeze today, it just feels so glam.

I haven’t been a fan of bell bottoms for a while but I just started appreciating them more when I moved back to L.A. from Israel. At the time I was there (a little over a year ago), all the girls were wearing bell bottoms and I felt so left out. Jeans are pretty expensive in Israel so as soon as I returned home I decided I just had to get myself a pair. I am obsessed with the way these fit me! First of all, the wash on them is awesome. Other than that, they are just really comfortable and stretchy so they hug my curves just right and make me feel super sexy.

I just bought these platform thick heels about a week ago and this is the first time I’m wearing them. I’m not going to lie, they’re not the easiest shoes to walk in, at least for me. If you know me, you know I don’t like to wear crazy high shoes. These aren’t too crazy but they are pretty high so it just took me a bit to get used to them. I really like their color because you can match nude with almost anything. Looking forward to getting better at walking in these!
